The SCITT Course – PGCE Primary Education

What is SCITT?

SCITT, which stands for School Centred Initial Teacher Training,  is a 1 year training programme that leads not only to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) but also a PGCE Primary Education (post-graduate certificate of education). During the year you will spend part of your time in Hendon being taught how to teach across the primary curriculum. You will also spend around 120 days training in high-performing schools.

This course is the best of both worlds  – a university style training with significant hands-on experience. By the end of the course you will  be well-equipped to enter any classroom.

We are a small provider offering excellent support and 1-1 mentoring. We generally do not have more than 20 on the course so we are able to fully invest in your development.

We have a 100% record for employment over the last 2 years.
