International Jewish Education Conference for Primary School Teachers 2026

Teach to Lead is a dynamic programme that runs alongside LSJS’s School Direct teacher training courses, designed to develop outstanding Jewish Studies educators for both primary and secondary schools. Blending classroom training with leadership development, personalised mentoring, creative thinking, and enrichment opportunities, including an educational seminar in Israel, Teach to Lead empowers participants to reimagine Jewish education for today’s world. Supported by the Pincus Fund for Jewish Education, which champions innovative projects and invests in the future of Jewish educational leadership, the programme aims to inspire the next generation of Jewish role models: knowledgeable, passionate, and ready to shape vibrant, meaningful Jewish learning experiences.

15th Annual International Jewish Education Conference for Primary Schools

The theme of this year’s conference is לעלה ולעלה : Higher and Higher. We are taking inspiration from the 15 steps that lead up to the Bet HaMikdash and the 15 Shir Hama’alot sung by the Levi’im, and connecting that with 15 years of illuminating and transforming teachers’ knowledge, skills, and understanding of Jewish Education through the annual conference.

We are offering a broad range of sessions addressing issues such as leadership, managing learning behaviour, formal and informal curriculum, and EdTech, to mention a few. There will also be a cohort chavruta learning session and an optional group coaching workshop for teachers to work systematically through any issue they need to.
