Rabbi Dr Michael Harris
Rabbi Dr Harris is the Rabbi of the Hampstead Synagogue.

Rabbi Dr Harris is Senior Rabbi of Hampstead Synagogue and Senior Research Fellow at LSJS. Rabbi Harris has a PhD in Philosophy and is the author of Divine Command Ethics: Jewish and Christian Perspectives and Faith Without Fear: Unresolved Issues in Modern Orthodoxy, and co-edited Radical Responsibility: Celebrating the Thought of Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks. He is a former Affiliated Lecturer in the Faculty of Divinity at the University of Cambridge. He has published articles in journals including the Harvard Theological Review, Tradition, The Torah U-Madda Journal, Akdamot and Meorot. His most recent book, co-authored with Daniel Rynhold, is Nietzsche, Soloveitchik and Contemporary Jewish Philosophy (Cambridge University Press, 2018). He is currently working on a book on the problem of evil in Jewish sources and analytic philosophy to be published by Littman.
