Praying To The God Of Covid

How do we keep faith in light of a global pandemic?

Many Christians, Muslims, Hindus and Jews, as well as people of other faiths, have been wondering about their religious beliefs since the rapid spread of the coronavirus. How could God let this happen? What should be the religious response? Does faith help? LSJS has gathered an interfaith panel of thoughtful and active religious leaders to discuss their views on the biggest single issue affecting the world today.

Panel includes:

The Rt Revd Dr Graham Tomlin, Bishop of Kensington, President of St Mellitus College

Shaykh Dr Asim Yusuf, Consultant Psychiatrist and British Board of Scholars and Imams

Bhaven Pathak, Director, Yog Foundation (Hindu and Indian community organisation)

Rabbi Joseph Dweck, S&P Sephardi Senior Rabbi
