Galia has a special interest in teacher training, teaching and learning, professional development and leadership. Galia started her teaching career at Immanuel College, where she taught English and held a variety of pastoral middle leadership roles, before moving to Yavneh College, where she was Assistant Headteacher for Key stage 4. As Deputy Headteacher of a multicultural 1300 pupil 11-18 school in Hertfordshire, Galia oversaw an innovative and wide-ranging menu of professional development opportunities for teachers and created a very successful sixteen-school Leadership Exchange Programme for aspirant leaders and current middle and senior leaders. She has always loved working with teachers in the early stages of their teaching careers, supporting and encouraging their development and progress as trainees, ECTs and RQTs.
