Ainsley Henriques hails from a Jewish family that settled in Jamaica nearly 300 years ago. Whilst at Reading University, he was active in many Jewish organisations. On returning to Jamaica, Ainsley became Vice President of B’nai Brith for the Caribbean and Central America, and later the President of the Jamaican Jewish Community. Today, he is Honorary Consul of Israel in Jamaica.
