Leonie Sher leads the School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) Programme which is a Professional Graduate Certificate (PGCE) in Education with Qualified Teacher Status.
Leonie is an experienced early years and primary school teacher who has held extensive senior management roles. She has a Masters degree in Educational Management and Administration from the Institute of Education. Leonie has worked with children with SEN and is experienced in providing reading programmes to cater for the needs of individual children. She has trained as an OFSTED and Pikuach Inspector and as an External Assessor for the Graduate Teacher Programme. Leonie has attended a Tavistock group relations conference in Israel on Authority, Leadership and Organisation and this has sharpened her understanding of the role and functioning of educational institutions and organisations in the wider Jewish educational context.
